Screening is an integral part of air cargo transportation. It is the assurance that what is in the packaging to be uplifted on an aircraft contains no items which may put the transport at risk. It is a technique for examining air cargo that permits the "screener" to attest that there is no security risk present in the cargo at the point at which the screening is undertaken. This particular course concerns Air Cargo Screening techniques and process. By the end of this course, students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of:

  1. The Principles of Air Cargo Screening; and
  2. The Basics of how to Screen Cargo in Preperation for Uplift

This course is designed for cargo screeners and those in corporate executive positions or are management decision makers within a Known Consignor's organization.
